Slavery Footprint: The Amazing Interactive Website That’s Changing the World

The site went live on September 22nd, 2011 and has seen millions of visitors from over 200 countries since then. It is successfully spreading word about the dire situation that is human slavery. How? By using a fully interactive site that gets people involved right away and makes them feel responsible and as though they can change things on an individual level.

Let’s face it, people like reading and learning about themselves, other people not so much. So by making this site about the people who visit it the Slavery Footprint organization is drawing in an audience that would normally look down and keep walking.

Using an intricate survey they can give an individualized result that makes that singular person realize what they are responsible for, instead of throwing a blanket of guilt over everyone and letting the individuals breathe easily.

Making people realize hard facts and motivating them to do something to make a difference can be hard, and that is why this site should be recognized for its effectiveness and we should learn from it.

How many slaves did the site say were working for you? (Mine was 32.)

You need to combine practicality and personal
touch in the gifts. With school books, notebooks, computers, video games, cell phones (not to mention snacks and water bottles), all having
become “must have” items. You will want to check out the belt to the backpack carrier to see if it is long enough to adjust for your comfort.

Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday.

It’s always exciting to read articles from other writers and practice a little something from their websites.
